Adding Knowledge+ marks the difference. Fluidra & Tandem | LumiPlus Design



RESULT

LUMIPLUS DESIGN, a new range of underwater LED luminaries for pools where innovative design and highly perceived quality is key. Produced with the most efficient LED technology that guarantees maximum durability, this new range stands out from what is currently available on the market. They are the first underwater luminaries produced with IMD technology and they're available in White Pure and Inox Effect finishes.

Review of 2013. To continue being present, you have to participate

As all the previous years, as an overview, we would like to share with all of you exactly how we have done in 2013.

Having successfully completed our 8th year we believe that we've reached a certain degree of maturity to state that:

The reliability of our services is more than proven.

The products that are ideated and/or developed by TANDEM are positively valued by the users along with being profitable for our clients.

Our financial strength allows us to take on new challenges inside and outside our borders.


2013 has, of course, been another very interesting year where the current situation has permitted, rather than obligated, us to evolve and further activate our projectivity.

Having capabilities that allow us to work for so many and different sectors grant us competitive advantages such as knowledge of market evolution and great strategic forecasting allowing us to take advantage of the different opportunities as they arise.

Some of the news during 2013 was:

  • January – 2 new awards for the Roller, product ideated, designed and developed with NIKIDOM. Awarded by ISPA (International Stationery Press Association) and by A' Design Award.
  • February – We launched our course "Innovating with value" for the Town Hall of Valencia.
  • March – The Omicrom VISION, product that we designed with RGB, chosen as symbol of the technology Made in Spain at EXPOMED.
  • April – Launched our education in Mindfulness.
  • May – Honourable Mention at the Red dot Design Award 2013 for the Pool MAC by ASTRALPOOL. We participated at Bizbarcelona to explain our process model for innovation.
  • June – Pool MAC by ASTRALPOOL is launched, a disruptive innovation project where we could add knowledge. We collaborate with the Master Programme International Management of Technology Innovation at La Salle in Barcelona.
  • July – Ministry of Traffic tests the IPC in Burgos (Intelligent Pedestrian Crossing) in which TANDEM has collaborated the past three years.
  • August – Time to gather strength.
  • September – We sped up our international plans.
  • October – We consolidated our bet on Co-Creation and launched "Connecting Knowledge".
  • November – The month where several toy projects take to the market: Educa Borras, EurekaKids, Esemebe.
  • December – INDRA, another IBEX35 company confides in TANDEM.


Furthermore,

In all these years, although especially true for 2013, we've been able to adapt swiftly to any context without losing the identity of our company. We've continued alongside our clients and their adversities and we've captured new and important clients transmitting "more is less". When companies are short on money to invest, they need assurances and that is what we have transmitted and proved with "more investment is less risk".

We've learned more about how to communicate and transmit our competitive advantage "Comply with what we promise; we add value for end-users and we increase our clients' competitiveness".

Without a doubt, the best thing about 2013 for TANDEM, has been putting all our available resources into not just looking towards Europe but being present and participating in Europe

El camino es la educación

Cotec presenta un nuevo libro sobre Educación digital y cultura de la innovación


Las nuevas tecnologías y las redes sociales son un excelente instrumento para el desarrollo de aptitudes innovadoras y emprendedoras en los alumnos.

Ya existen varias experiencias de éxito desarrolladas en España que demuestran la oportunidad de realizar cambios en los métodos educativos tradicionales.


Para lograr que España sea una economía más competitiva hace falta una cultura que facilite la percepción por parte de la sociedad de la necesidad de innovar, es decir, de aprovechar cualquier tipo de conocimiento para generar valor. Para lograr ese cambio cultural el primer paso es un sistema educativo que inculque el espíritu emprendedor e innovador entre los más jóvenes. En todas las etapas educativas (primaria, secundaria, formación profesional y universitaria) no sólo se deben aportar conocimientos sino también formar a los estudiantes en las aptitudes y valores necesarios para que puedan abrirse camino en sociedades avanzadas.



La Fundación Cotec ha publicado un libro, de carácter muy práctico, titulado “Educación digital y cultura de la innovación”, cuyo objetivo es sensibilizar a responsables públicos, docentes y padres sobre el potencial de las nuevas herramientas digitales 2.0 y de las redes sociales para mejorar la educación y transmitir a los alumnos los valores del emprendimiento y la innovación, identificando algunas experiencias reales que se están desarrollando con éxito en distintos centros educativos en España. El documento se ha presentado hoy, en la sede de Cotec en Madrid, en una rueda de prensa en la que han participado: Mercedes Lucio-Villegas, Jefa de Servicios de Proyectos de Investigación del Centro Nacional de Innovación e Investigación Educativas (CNIIE) del MECD, Blanca Cañamero, Profesora de “Iniciativa Emprendedora” del I.E.S. Fray Pedro de Urbina (Burgos), Manuel Blázquez, Profesor de “Tecnología” y Jefe de Estudios de Primer Ciclo de la ESO del I.E.S. Ramiro de Maeztu (Madrid), Juan Menor, Profesor de Comunicación de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Víctor Núñez, Socio-Director de School Market, y Juan Mulet, Director General de Cotec.

Mastering a technology isn’t only about knowing all the secrets but rather using the technology to develop practical solutions that improve our society.
The result of DSTA and TANDEM adding knowledge has been: developing lighting solutions that are more efficient, less consuming, that offer greater interaction with the environment, remote management and with a wide range that adapts to the necessities of both citizens and city.

Starting with winning the competition to re-design the new traffic light of Barcelona, Tandem Joint Innovation has ideated, conceptualized and developed several projects in this sector. 
The modular design allows for easy access for maintenance, makes it very easy to adapt to the traffic necessities of each area where installed and it has a very low environmental impact as it is made from recyclable materials and low energy consumption LED lights

Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 - Adding knowledge with MEYPAR / Sumamos conocimiento con MEYPAR


Meypar, with the purpose of presenting worldwide its brand-new developments which will stablish another step forward within the parking sector, will attend once again Intertraffic Amsterdam, an event that has been held biannually since 1972, and has emerged as the contest reference in the sector.

Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014, is a magnificent setting in which Meypar will unveil its latest innovations to nearly 26.000 visitors from around the world who attend the event in each of its editions.

Con el objetivo de presentar a escala mundial novedades que supondrán un nuevo paso al frente dentro del sector del parking , Meypar acudirá una vez más a Intertraffic Amsterdam, evento que se viene celebrando con carácter bianual desde 1972 , y que se ha erigido como el certamen de referencia en el sector.

Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014, constituye un magnífico escenario en el que Meypar dará a conocer sus últimas innovaciones a los cerca de 26.000 visitantes de todo el mundo que acuden al salón en cada una de sus ediciones.

Una imagen muy significativa que seguro atraerá a much@s corredor@s antes de que se ponga en rojo. Esperamos que este gran evento deportivo siga consolidándose en el segundo puesto del ranking mundial de carreras atléticas populares.
